About the position

Dexian is seeking a Remote Azure DevOps Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in the US. The role of the DevOps Engineer involves coordinating the efforts of product design and development with the more business-oriented operations and production to achieve successful new product launches. This position requires a strong focus on the design and development of the organization's infrastructure, which is a key responsibility of a DevOps Engineer. Additionally, the role involves deploying automation to reduce risk management and uphold the infrastructure of the organization. Extensive collaboration is required to yield good results. The DevOps Engineer will handle everything from technical analyses to deployment and monitoring, with a focus on enhancing overall system reliability and scalability. Staying on top of industry trends and best practices is crucial, as the DevOps Engineer must recognize opportunities for automation, design development, and other solutions in a comprehensive manner to boost operational efficiency. Adaptability is essential, as DevOps Engineers must be prepared to take on a variety of work tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of product design and development with business-oriented operations and production for successful product launches.
• Design and develop the organization's infrastructure, deploying automation to reduce risk management.
• Collaborate extensively on technical analyses, deployment, and monitoring to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recognizing opportunities for automation and design development to improve operational efficiency.
• Adapt to take on a variety of work tasks as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years previous experience implementing projects utilizing resources in Azure, especially Kubernetes, Virtual machines, Storage and storage accounts, Managed SQL instances, Backup and Recovery.
• 5+ years previous experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling and best-practices, especially Ansible and Terraform.
• 5+ years experience with containerization, with the ability to support developers using Docker Desktop being a plus.
• 5+ years experience developing and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines and industry best-practices, especially Jenkins and GitHub actions.
• 5+ years experience with Linux server administration.
