About the position

The Backend Developer position at Insight Global involves research, design, and software development for specific product lines, focusing on moderately complex tasks. The developer will implement best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and resolve technical issues while working in both Agile and Waterfall environments. This is a fully remote position requiring work during EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, design, and software development for specific product lines.
• Design program flow, code, unit test, and conduct comprehensive testing.
• Collaborate with technical teams to finalize requirements and write specifications.
• Translate product needs into software designs.
• Implement best coding practices and conduct code reviews.
• Resolve technical issues and complete moderately complex bug fixes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, DB migration, MVC, JavaScript, and Authentication.
• Familiarity with code coverage, automated unit tests, and test-driven development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
