About the position

Firstrade Securities Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Bilingual Client Support Associate to join their Customer Service Department. This role involves assisting customers with investment services, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints through various communication channels. The position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, primarily during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with customers via email and phone regarding investment information and services.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing straightforward inquiries with support from experienced personnel.
• Assess customer information and offer appropriate product and service solutions.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Take ownership of customer issues and resolve problems independently, escalating difficult issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Perform a broad range of tasks of varying complexity to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Proficient in Chinese (writing, reading, and typing).
• Ability to read and type in English.
• Ability to manage and de-escalate difficult problems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow up on multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Previous chat and/or email customer service experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service for at least 1 year.
• Familiarity with investment services.
