About the position

The position is for a Bilingual Spanish Call Center Representative with Optum Care Connections, a part of one of the largest healthcare organizations. The role involves conducting outreach calls to members eligible for the White Glove program, addressing patient needs, and providing assistance with healthcare-related inquiries. The position requires flexibility in working hours, as it operates seven days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach calls to members eligible for the White Glove program.
  • Follow a script to address patient needs in an open-ended manner.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, obtaining referrals or test results, and medication assistance.
  • Educate members on their health plans and conduct surveys.
  • Make back-to-back calls, potentially reaching up to 100 calls per day.
  • Participate in training and team meetings on camera.

Requirements

  • 2 years of call center customer service experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
