About the position

The position at Intuit involves providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, specifically focusing on business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The role is integral to advancing Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World' and includes shaping the direction of TurboTax Live Business. The successful candidate will leverage their tax expertise to assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit's TurboTax Business products, while also ensuring high-quality customer interactions through video communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and tax preparation for business tax returns.
• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Assist TurboTax Business customers with tax advice and full-service business return preparation.
• Utilize video communications software to interact with customers professionally.
• Document customer interactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Work towards meeting company key performance metrics and goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns.
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills.
