About the position

The Remote Call Center Patient Concierge Specialist at Millennia is responsible for assisting patients with their medical bills through outbound courtesy calls. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle high call volumes, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. The position is fully remote, requiring a quiet workspace and the ability to manage multiple software applications while communicating effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound courtesy calls to assist patients with their medical bills.
  • Achieve daily metrics by handling high volume inbound calls (approximately 80-100 calls per day).
  • Follow scripted verbiage when discussing medical bills with patients.
  • Keep accurate records of all conversations in the database.
  • Manage dual monitors, a virtual phone system, and multiple software applications during calls.
  • Identify patient needs, clarify information, and provide solutions while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer and/or patient support role.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Understanding and pronunciation of basic medical terms.
