About the position
The Remote Call Center Representative will work in a high-volume outbound call center environment, primarily contacting Medicare members to encourage timely prescription refills. This role involves making outbound calls to members who have not yet refilled their prescriptions and facilitating warm transfers to their retail pharmacies. The position is crucial in ensuring that members receive their medications on time, contributing to better healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to Medicare members regarding prescription refills.
- Handle inbound calls from members who leave voicemails.
- Warm transfer members to their retail pharmacies for prescription filling.
- Maintain a high volume of calls while ensuring quality communication.
- Document interactions and update records in the system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of call center experience, including outbound call center experience.
- 1+ years of recent experience in a healthcare environment.
- 1+ years of experience working remotely.
- Proficient with technology, including electronic medical records.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working at a startup in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Five9 and Salesforce.
