Responsibilities
- Make outbound fundraising calls on an automated dialer
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
- Use scripts to provide information about candidates or causes
- Record the donor's personal information accurately in a computer system
- Correctly code calls
Requirements
- 1 year of relevant experience in fundraising or similar calling roles
- Ability to work with scripts and follow guidelines
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Friendly, persuasive, and persistent demeanor
- Ability to handle complaints and aggressive responses calmly
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in nonprofit management
- Event planning experience
- Knowledge of political fundraising
