About the position

A dynamic, self-starting, highly motivated, and experienced Channel Marketing Consultant's expertise is needed to make an impact during open enrollment at this highly respected, fast-paced large financial services company. The chosen Channel Marketing Consultant will support and drive the Group Life Insurance Employment Benefit Solutions business-to-consumer solutions marketing during enrollment and implementation season. Multiple accountabilities and deliverables will be expected to drive results and wrap up a successful enrollment season. If you are a Channel Marketing SME AND enjoy special projects while working from your home, this role is for you! Financial service industry experience is a must. Life Insurance industry experience would be preferred. The current role is going through the end of October though there may be potential to extend due to additional initiatives in the works!

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts to manage educational, sales, and enrollment materials rollout
  • Support and drive to fruition creative digital experiences, content planning and execution, and measurement analysis
  • Interact with the external creative agency
  • Lean on the company's internal legal and compliance team for direction and support
  • Work collaboratively with the enterprise marketing team
  • Develop and refine marketing and communication materials
  • Ensure presentations, communication plans, digital assets, talking points, plan summaries, postcards, newsletters, videos, and marketing campaigns clearly relay the messaging and are in compliance with the company's standards
  • Manage marketing projects from start to finish
  • Create and update marketing materials
  • Create new virtual experiences
  • Write, edit, proofread, and procure approval signoffs on created material
  • Support ad-hoc sales efforts for client retention and new business

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in Marketing Communications
  • 2 years of experience in Life Insurance Industry (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in Financial Services
  • 4 years of experience with MS Office Products
  • 2 years of experience with marketing literature regulatory requirements
  • 4 years of experience in Marketing and Journalism
  • Experience with multiple marketing mediums
  • 1 year of experience in Strategic Planning
  • 1 year of experience in Content Adaptation
  • 2 years of experience in Project Management (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in Leadership (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task
