The position is responsible for performing complex engineering work activities and projects that require the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic manner. The role is remote, preferably located in states within AEP's service territory, including OH, WV, VA, KY, TN, IN, MI, OK, TX, LA, AR, with other locations considered based on payroll, tax, and benefits. The opportunity may be filled at either the Engineer Principal (grade 9) or Engineer Sr. (grade 8) level, depending on the candidate's education and experience. Geotechnical Engineering experience is preferred as the position primarily supports AEP's hydroelectric dams.
