About the position

The Clinical Data Governance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality and governance throughout the clinical study lifecycle, focusing on clinical operations and related data. This position involves collaboration with business and systems stakeholders, leading information gathering sessions, and producing essential data governance deliverables such as process flows, data lineage documentation, and data quality analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data quality and governance activities related to the clinical study lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and systems stakeholders to gather information and drive consensus.
• Produce data governance deliverables including process/data flows and data lineage documentation.
• Document roles and responsibilities related to data ownership.
• Establish data standards and rules, and conduct data profiling analysis to assess data quality and consistency.
• Create controlled vocabularies and maintain data catalogs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst working with large data sets in the clinical space.
• Strong knowledge of the clinical trials lifecycle and related data processes.
• Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and related systems such as Asset and Portfolio Management, eTMF, and Veeva systems.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and the ability to run queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Ability to create process and data maps using tools like Visio.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or master's degree in areas related to pharmaceuticals.
