About the position

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the aerospace company's transition to cloud deployments, particularly focusing on Azure. This position involves designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating Azure-based infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The engineer will work closely with various teams to enhance the reliability and performance of cloud systems, particularly in the context of deploying Ignition SCADA.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current DevSecOps Pipeline and agent node
  • Update pipeline script to reflect XETA migration and remove MVP references
  • Keep all the expired packages up to date those raised by cyber scanning tools and some registered in risk registry
  • Create pipeline for Ignition deployment and set standard and train all the developers
  • Enhance git sync and resolve some open issues left by Deloitte DevOps engineer
  • Automate Azure resources deployment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience within Cloud Engineering focused on Azure
  • 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong expertise with GitHub, specifically GitLab or GitHub Actions a plus
  • Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
