About the position

As a Remote Collections Representative at TSI, you will play a crucial role in our customer service team, focusing on managing past due accounts through effective communication and negotiation. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while residing in Texas. You will be responsible for both outbound and inbound calls, engaging with customers to secure payments on accounts that are overdue. Your ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service will be essential in this role, as you will be interacting with clients who may be experiencing financial difficulties. In addition to handling calls, you will be expected to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality and the ability to convey accurate information clearly over the phone. You will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this position. Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to customers regarding past due accounts.
  • Accept incoming calls related to overdue accounts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA preferred.
  • Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service aptitude.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to exchange accurate information effectively over the phone.
