About the position

The Remote Customer Engagement Specialist at British Swim School of Northern East Bay is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through various digital channels. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers when automated solutions are insufficient, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position is primarily remote but may require occasional on-site support for events. Candidates should be proactive and eager to improve systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat.
  • Manage incoming leads and guide them through the sales process to maximize conversion rates.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as conversion rates and customer retention.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of automation tools like Zapier, Make, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or others is beneficial.
