About the position

The Data Analyst position at Insight Global involves working within a public sector IT organization to support the Designer Selection Board (DSB) in developing a data warehouse for centralized data integration. The role focuses on creating data-driven dashboards and reports using Tableau, enhancing the agency's reporting and analytics capabilities. The Data Analyst will collaborate with a small team to install Tableau, provide training, and ensure long-term independent use of the tool.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a three-person team at the DSB and A&F IT personnel.
• Install Tableau on workstations.
• Create data-driven dashboards and reports from various data sources including data warehouse and Excel.
• Provide comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to the team and stakeholders.
• Ensure long-term independent use of Tableau by the team and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge in Tableau with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong background in data visualization for creating compelling dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in data integration with Excel, data warehouses, and other databases.
• Demonstrated experience in training and knowledge transfer.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams that are new to Tableau.
• Proficiency in creating accessible dashboards and reports.
