About the position

The Design Program Manager will oversee cross-functional design and creative operations projects, ensuring the successful execution of design initiatives. This role involves developing project timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of design principles and excellent leadership skills to drive efficiency in design processes and creative operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the design program lifecycle from concept to execution.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and resource allocation.
• Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to leadership.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design project management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of design processes and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Confluence, JIRA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
