About the position

The DevOps Engineer position at Insight Global focuses on leveraging Crossplane and Kubernetes to manage cloud infrastructure and services. The role is essential for ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes clusters while streamlining deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with development teams and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, all while adhering to security policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Utilize Crossplane to manage cloud infrastructure and services, enabling seamless integration and automation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Crossplane.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of experience with Crossplane
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Argo CD
