About the position

Outlier is seeking talented English writers to assist in training generative AI models. This remote, freelance position offers flexible hours, allowing writers to work at their convenience. The role involves reading and ranking AI-generated responses, writing and rewriting prompts, and assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.

Responsibilities

• Read English text to rank AI-generated responses.
• Write and rewrite prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
• Assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English with a strong sense of writing style.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience as a professional writer or editor is preferred.
• Exceptional English-language spelling and grammar skills.
• Strong logic and reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of text.
