This position is designed for a radiologist who will primarily focus on providing interpretations for emergency imaging at one of the Southeast's busiest Level 1 trauma centers, Grady Memorial Hospital. The role is structured to accommodate a unique work schedule that includes one week of clinical shifts followed by two weeks off, allowing for a total of 121 clinical shifts per year, with 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings available. This remote work opportunity is accessible from anywhere in the USA, excluding New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with trainees and other medical staff. Participation in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision, is expected. Emory University is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within its academic community. The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences actively encourages applications from underrepresented members in medicine and radiology, emphasizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in achieving excellence in patient care, teaching, and scholarship. Candidates must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license, with preference given to those with subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience.
