About the position

The Remote External Demand Investigations Team Investigator (EDIT) is responsible for conducting thorough investigations, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports related to financial crimes such as money laundering and fraud. This role requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality while supporting the External Demand Investigations Team's functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough investigations and prepare summary reports with recommendations for action based on law enforcement inquiries and suspicious activity reports.
• Analyze data collected during investigations and present results in a comprehensive manner.
• Conduct online research for relevant adverse information related to financial crimes.
• Draft and prepare internal and external memos and reports as part of case documentation.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relative AML investigations experience.
• Experience in Correspondent Banking investigations.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of effective internet search techniques; experience with Mantas and Actimize is preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CAMS certification is a plus.
