About the position
The Front End Developer will be part of a collaborative team responsible for developing and maintaining a widely used internal design system that supports various internal applications across the organization. This role involves front-end development, updating frameworks, fixing bugs, ensuring accessibility, and building components to assist other teams. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping others and capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the internal design system used across the organization.
- Restructure and update the frameworks used in the design system.
- Fix bugs and maintain accessibility standards.
- Build and code components that assist other teams in developing internal applications and tools.
- Provide training and support to other teams on using the design system.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer developing with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React (Vue.js preferred).
- Experience developing design systems (strong preference).
- Experience in the financial or banking industry.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Vue.js framework.
