About the position

Coalition Technologies is seeking a dedicated and skilled Front End Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 templates, creating responsive website designs, and building websites using WordPress. You will also extend and develop plugins and themes, ensuring that all web designs are optimized for performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery, along with experience in cross-browser compatibility issues and media queries. You will work closely with our SEO team and other departments to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As a Front End Developer at Coalition Technologies, you will be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You will utilize tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create web-optimized images and will work with version control systems like GIT or SVN. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities

• Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
• Creating responsive website designs.
• Building websites with WordPress, extending and developing plugins and themes.
• Working with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create images optimized for the web.
• Working with version control systems such as GIT / SVN.
• Handling multiple projects at the same time.
• Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail.

Requirements

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with media queries.
• Knowledge of CSS platforms such as Twitter's Bootstrap.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
• Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style.
• Positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX (preferred).
• Experience with WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
• Ability to adapt to a diverse and multicultural environment.
