About the position

The Remote Marketing Manager at The Hotel Group is responsible for supporting the marketing initiatives of a portfolio of hotels and restaurants across the United States. This role involves overseeing both digital and traditional marketing efforts, ensuring brand integrity, and analyzing marketing performance to drive strategic decisions. The position requires collaboration with various teams and external partners to enhance the marketing presence and reputation of the properties.

Responsibilities

  • Support traditional and digital marketing initiatives by recommending, creating, and deploying organic and paid campaigns.
  • Copywriting and design for marketing materials as necessary.
  • Ensure visual and written brand integrity of content for each property.
  • Monitor and report on performance of websites.
  • Facilitate the creation of signage, mock-ups, email campaigns, and online promotions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of new tools and trends and make recommendations for new initiatives.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party designers, marketers, and web developers to support properties.
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date content on websites.
  • Curate and publish corporate content and collateral such as newsletters.
  • Manage social media presence for The Hotel Group.
  • Coordinate with recruitment teams to assist in amplifying open positions.
  • Create templated designs for use by corporate and property team members.
  • Provide onboarding support to new social and reputation champions.
  • Facilitate ongoing social and reputation team calls; host presentations and trainings.
  • Maintain a database of recorded trainings and team member attendance of trainings.
  • Work with property teams to develop and implement social media content plans.
  • Prepare various market research materials and report on performance of organic and paid campaigns.
  • Research viability of various marketing channels on a property and geographic basis.
  • Monitor and report on social media and reputation management performance for the portfolio.
  • Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies.
  • Maintain and provide access to all relevant digital channels and meeting minutes for calls.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising.
  • Prior experience with hotel and restaurant industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing software applications (e.g., CRM tools, online analytics, Google AdWords).
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze marketing data and generate reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Experience with copywriting and designing marketing materials.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media.
