About the position

The IRS MBI Cleared Automation Tester position at Insight Global is a fully remote role focused on providing expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of release tests for a federal customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing principles, processes, and methods as defined in the methodology framework, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, construction, and execution of release tests for federal projects.
• Analyze the functionality of applications and design automated tests to validate their performance.
• Coordinate defect management functions, ensuring test defects are tracked to closure.
• Create and distribute test status metrics as required by the project.

Requirements

• Experience in Test Management, Test Execution, Quality Engineering, and Performance Tuning.
• Ability to analyze application functionality and design automated tests.
• Experience with SQL Databases such as MySQL, Postgres SQL, or NoSQL Databases.
• Experience with defect coordination and maintaining an up-to-date defect repository.
