About the position
Heart and Solutions is seeking a full-time telehealth outpatient Mental Health Counselor to provide counseling services to children, adults, and families. This role is designed for licensed professionals residing in Iowa and offers the opportunity to work with diverse clinical populations. The position includes clinical supervision for temporary licensed providers and emphasizes a strength-based approach to counseling.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth counseling services to children, adults, and families.
- Work with a variety of clinical populations.
- Participate in clinical supervision as needed, including play therapy supervision for those pursuing RPT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to support client care.
Requirements
- Must hold licensure in Iowa as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), temporary LMHC, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), temporary LMFT, Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or LMSW.
- New graduates with scheduled licensure tests are encouraged to apply.
