About the position
Join Talkspace, a leading online platform for therapists and counselors to provide mental health care on your schedule, all from the comfort of home. This is a fully remote, part-time position that allows you to choose your time commitment. As a Talkspace therapist, there is no caseload requirement or non-compete clause, enabling you to maintain your current clientele while using Talkspace to fill in openings in your schedule or build a full caseload on our platform. The flexibility of this role allows you to provide mental health care at your convenience, whether during the day, on weekends, early mornings, or late nights. You can set a schedule that works best for you and your clients. At Talkspace, we eliminate the overhead costs associated with private practice. You can wave goodbye to insurance barriers, marketing budgets, and other expenses, as Talkspace provides client referrals and handles insurance claim submissions and billing. This allows you to focus on practicing the craft you love without the administrative burdens. Additionally, you can earn a monthly client engagement bonus of up to $4,000, based on your clinical hours spent with clients on the platform. You will also have access to resources such as our Provider Help Center and a dedicated Provider Support Team, along with opportunities to earn free CE credits by attending our Learning Community sessions. Talkspace is an online platform that connects mental health therapists and counselors with clients in their licensed state(s) through an easy-to-use and HIPAA-compliant app. The platform supports various communication methods, including text, video, and audio messages, allowing you to engage with clients from almost anywhere, at any time. Please note that Talkspace therapists and counselors work remotely and only with clients in the state(s) where they are licensed and allowed to practice. Due to demand, we are currently placing applicants on a waitlist to join our platform if they have clinical licensure only in the following states: Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health care to clients through the Talkspace platform.
- Manage cases, write client notes, and schedule appointments using the Talkspace app.
- Engage with clients via text, video, and audio messages.
- Maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates your availability and client needs.
- Participate in Learning Community sessions to earn free CE credits.
Requirements
- Independent, state-board-approved clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
- Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application.
- Individual NPI number.
- Current residence in the USA.
