About the position
The Remote Mental Health Therapist position at Lyra Health involves providing evidence-based therapy through a digital platform, focusing on short-term treatment for clients with diverse mental health needs. Therapists will utilize video sessions combined with digital psychoeducation tools to enhance client outcomes while working from their preferred locations. The role emphasizes culturally responsive care and offers continuous professional development and peer support.
Responsibilities
- Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
- Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs and monitor client outcomes.
- Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learning.
- Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
- Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training sessions.
- Utilize expert consultation for complex client cases.
Requirements
- Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
- Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without disciplinary action.
- Experience providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
- Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
- Experience providing video therapy.
- Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (30 potential bookable spots).
- Full-time resident of the United States.
