About the position

The Remote Mental Health Therapist at Lyra Health Inc. is responsible for providing short-term, evidence-based therapy through a digital platform. This role involves maintaining a diverse caseload of clients, utilizing innovative video therapy techniques, and integrating digital psychoeducation tools to enhance client outcomes. The therapist will work collaboratively with peers and have access to ongoing training and expert consultation, ensuring a supportive environment for both professional development and client care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs and monitor client outcomes.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training sessions.
  • Utilize culturally responsive care to meet the unique needs of clients.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without disciplinary action.
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with culturally responsive care practices.
  • Familiarity with digital mental health tools and platforms.
