About the position

The Remote Mental Health Therapist at Lyra Health Inc. is responsible for providing short-term, evidence-based therapy through a digital platform. This role involves maintaining a diverse caseload of clients, utilizing innovative video therapy techniques, and ensuring culturally responsive care. The therapist will collaborate with peers, participate in clinical consultations, and have access to ongoing training and support to enhance their clinical skills. This position is ideal for licensed clinicians who are committed to continuous learning and thrive in a feedback-rich environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs and monitor client outcomes.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learning.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training sessions.
  • Utilize resources for complex client cases, including specialty consultations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without disciplinary action.
  • Experience with evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with culturally responsive care practices.
  • Familiarity with digital mental health tools and platforms.
