About the position

The Mid-Level Civil Engineer will support renewable energy projects in a utility-scale environment, focusing on site and civil engineering tasks. This role involves preparing essential documentation for construction permits and site plans, as well as conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Erosion and Sediment control plans and documents for Construction General Permit applications.
• Prepare site plans and documents for site plan and zoning applications.
• Perform hydrologic hydraulic and water quality modeling evaluations.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as a Civil Engineer.
• BS or MS in Engineering.
• Software knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD.
• Working knowledge of renewable energy projects, specifically solar on a utility scale.
• Professional Engineering Licenses in VA, NC and SC is preferred.
• VA DEQ Dual Certified Plan Reviewer for Erosion and Sediment Control.
