About the position

The Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor at Coalition Technologies is responsible for creating high-quality promotional videos and animations for the company and its clients. This role emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and technical proficiency in video production and motion graphics, with a focus on delivering engaging content for various social media platforms and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Creating promotional videos for Coalition Technologies and clients.
• Producing videos and animated banners for ad campaigns.
• Developing short-format videos for platforms like Instagram Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
• Creating animations for videos, websites, emails, and other media.
• Following briefs and working with scripts, design assets, and footage provided by clients.
• Generating ideas, writing scripts, and creating storyboards as needed.
• Participating in client meetings and collaborating with Digital Producers to achieve client goals.
• Collaborating with graphic designers, copywriters, and PPC teams to establish project vision and analyze tradeoffs.
• Encoding videos for required formats and uploading to media sources.
• Staying updated on trends in storytelling, video production, and social media.
• Ensuring projects are completed on schedule while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven motion graphics and video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
• Proficiency in video editing software, ideally Adobe Premiere.
• Ability to write and produce short-form promotional videos from start to finish.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Experience producing videos and animations for social media and YouTube (preferred).
• Experience with online advertising is a plus.
• Graphic design, 3D modeling, and/or illustration skills are a plus.
• Possession of a camera, lighting, and space for shooting videos is a plus.
• Ability to record narration is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Experience presenting materials to clients professionally.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
• A reliable workstation with a fast computer for video editing.
• Microphone and speakers, reliable internet and power.
