About the position

Orkin is seeking self-motivated and customer-oriented Bilingual Universal Agents to join our remote Customer Contact Center. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. As a Bilingual Universal Agent, you will be responsible for handling inbound sales and customer service calls, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. You will be part of a team that has over 120 years of experience in the pest management industry, which is known for its stability and growth potential. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, as you may be asked to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. In this fast-paced environment, you will engage with prospective customers, answer their inquiries about Orkin services, and build rapport to effectively handle objections. Your primary goal will be to close sales over the phone and schedule initial service appointments. You will also manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention, offering solutions to prevent account cancellations and recommending additional services to enhance customer value. The role includes utilizing gamification methods to measure performance and maintain engagement in a virtual setting. To support your success, Orkin provides a comprehensive three-week training program, ongoing professional development, and a variety of work schedules. You will work from your home office, equipped with the necessary technology provided by Orkin, and must have a reliable high-speed internet connection. Responsibilities

  • Answer questions from prospective customers regarding Orkin services
  • Build rapport and handle objections within a conversational call flow
  • Close pest control sales via the telephone and schedule the initial service
  • Manage the customer relationship to ensure best in class service
  • Retain business by offering several remedies to prevent account cancellations
  • Recommend additional services to increase protection value for residences
  • Use different gamification methods as a tool to measure performance

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 - 2 years customer service and sales experience within or outside a call center
  • Ability to fluently speak and interpret Spanish
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume role
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a call center environment
