About the position

The Remote Operations Data Analyst at Nutrisense will play a vital role in supporting the dietitian workforce operations through data-driven insights and process optimization. This position involves analyzing operational metrics, building and maintaining dashboards, and identifying opportunities for process improvement, all while working closely with the Senior Operations Manager. The role is designed for someone passionate about using data to drive business decisions and improve processes in a health technology startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve existing health operations dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key metrics
  • Build new dashboards and reports as business needs arise
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making for the health team
  • Identify and investigate data quality issues, partnering with relevant teams to implement solutions
  • Support the optimization of existing workflows and processes through data analysis
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
  • Partner with Customer Support, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering teams on various initiatives
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, operations, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills/curiosity
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience at a startup or in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase is a plus
