About the position

The Remote Patient Care Coordinator (RPCC) at Fukuji & Lum Physical Therapy plays a crucial role in enhancing patient experiences by providing exceptional medical receptionist support and managing communication within the front office. This position requires collaboration with the Front Office Director and involves training, task delegation, and revenue cycle management, all aimed at ensuring high-quality patient care in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Front Office Director and ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Communicate openly and honestly with the Front Office Director.
  • Serve as an expert in all Medical Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator roles.
  • Assist in training Medical Receptionists and PCCs.
  • Manage daily tasks and priorities in coordination with the Front Office Director.
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Audit and resubmit claims within the billing module daily.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a medical setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance and billing processes.
  • Experience in customer service and clerical roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in outpatient medical administrative support.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle management.
