About the position

ClancyJG International is seeking a part-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This role is essential in providing high-fidelity training exercises for pilots and air traffic control (ATC) facilities. The RPO will operate a combination of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), keyboard, and Voice Communication System (VCS) to simulate the actions and communications necessary for effective training. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving voice commands from students, inputting the correct entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, and translating displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology. Additionally, the RPO will respond to students via the VCS, ensuring the use of proper phraseology throughout the training exercises. The position requires a keen ability to demonstrate a minimum keyboard speed of forty (40) words per minute with ninety (90) percent accuracy. The RPO must possess the ability to read and interpret various materials, including diagrams and manuals, and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. This role is critical in ensuring that training exercises are conducted smoothly and accurately, contributing to the overall success of the training programs offered by ClancyJG International. Responsibilities

  • Operate a combination of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), keyboard, and Voice Communication System (VCS) to simulate pilot actions and communications during training exercises.

  • Translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position.
  • Ability to demonstrate a minimum keyboard speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals.
  • Ability to speak clearly and be understood.
