About the position

The Remote Product Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies for the client's products in the United States, particularly in the Marcellus Shale area. This role involves building and nurturing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key sales opportunities through networking and market research.
  • Build and nurture productive customer relationships.
  • Utilize market research to validate opportunities and manage risk.
  • Implement sales action plans for targeted markets and customers.
  • Lead the identification of new revenue generation opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Perform presentations to various industry audiences.
  • Monitor customer relations performance to ensure satisfaction.
  • Define marketing requirements and provide input for marketing tools.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Provide insights for new product lines to Engineering.
  • Offer ongoing account management support to clients.
  • Meet regularly with the Sales Director to analyze sales performance and market opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate database of customer information and manage sales activities through CRM.
  • Report weekly on US sales activities to the Sales Director and provide updates to leadership.
  • Promote products with Manufacturer's Representatives to grow the market.
  • Build a collaborative culture within the Manufacturer's Representatives network.
  • Complete annual performance evaluations for Manufacturer's Representatives.

Requirements

  • Technical training or post-secondary education in Business Management is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in US sales & marketing, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience selling through a network is an asset.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and training skills to articulate corporate objectives to Manufacturer's Representatives.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft AX preferred.
  • General knowledge of products and services in the oil and gas industry.
