About The Position

The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their licensure, ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This role involves participating in the leadership of the program and collaborating with program staff and members served, contributing to the overall mission of delivering effective behavioral health services.

Requirements

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
• Successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry.
• Active CA DEA in good standing.
• Experience working in a Psychiatric Forensic setting.
• Malpractice Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of Psychiatrist licensure.
