The Remote QA Analyst position at Zachary Piper Solutions involves supporting a government contract based in Chantilly, VA. The analyst will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, documenting results, and identifying defects, all while maintaining effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality in all custom developed software.
• Define and prioritize all aspects of testing throughout the development cycle.
• Create, review and prioritize test plans based on product specifications, developer releases and organizational feedback.
• Ensure integrity, validity, and testability of all product specifications.
• Write and execute test plans as well as document test plan results.
• Configure automated regression tests.
• Identify defects and problems as assigned.
• Work in a team and individually, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
• Learn and apply new technologies on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance.
• 3-5 years of experience writing and executing test plans.
• 3-5 years of experience documenting test results, filling out defect reports, and working with development teams to resolve defects.
