About the position

The Automation Engineer will join the home security branch of a large technology company, focusing on automating manual workflows and conducting automation testing for new products and features. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java and Appium for mobile app testing
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries
• Identify opportunities to expand test automation coverage and improve testing efficiency
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Proficient in Java programming and Appium framework for mobile app testing
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS
• Familiarity with AWS cloud-based testing platform
• Exposure to performance and load testing
