About The Position

The Regional Finance Director will partner with Finance and Operation leadership to guide and supervise the strategic financial direction of the Healthcare Hospitality Line of Business in the West Region. This role is primarily responsible for financial planning, annual forecasts, monthly and quarterly projections, and historical financial analysis of operational results and internal benchmarks and metrics. The ideal candidate will reside in Indianapolis, IN, or Chicago, IL, and must be located in CST, MST, or PST time zones. In this position, the Regional Finance Director will manage and develop the regional finance staff, ensuring that policies and programs are administered effectively while collaborating with District Managers, Regional Staff, and Front Line Managers to achieve the Region's financial and operational objectives. The Director will oversee the budget, projection, and closing processes, fostering creative solutions and collaboration with the regional field organization and headquarters support teams to meet financial objectives. The role also involves validating financial data compiled by operational teams for renewal, rebid, and new business efforts, as well as identifying and monitoring under-performing accounts. The Director will lead improvement teams to enhance performance at these accounts and assist the Regional Vice President and headquarters staff in administering compliance with ARAMARK's Business Conduct Policy and related directives. Ongoing training sessions for regional staff and operations teams regarding new accounting procedures and financial programs will also be a key responsibility. Additionally, the Regional Finance Director will manage the control of regional assets, including capital expenditure processes, change funds, inventory, and equipment. They will monitor working capital requirements, focusing on accounts receivable and their collection, and evaluate potential investments for new business, retention events, acquisitions, and divestitures. The position requires engagement with other regional directors to promote the sharing of best practices and the development of proformas and scenario analyses that drive clarity in executive decision-making. The Director will support technology enhancements that improve operational efficiency and profitability, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal and external controls. This role is dynamic, requiring the development, analysis, interpretation, and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures, while working closely with senior managers across all functions to optimize company growth and profitability.
