About the position

The Revenue Integrity Regional Training Specialist is responsible for assessing, training, and providing continuing education to colleagues within assigned Health Ministries related to Revenue Integrity operational management. This role ensures that all Revenue Integrity colleagues demonstrate competencies in using Health Information Systems and comply with organizational and governmental regulations. The specialist conducts new hire orientations, develops training programs, and collaborates with various departments to enhance colleague skills and knowledge in Revenue Integrity functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and train colleagues in Revenue Integrity operational management duties.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and post-training monitoring for Revenue Integrity new hires.
  • Provide scheduled in-person and virtual training sessions, including preparing training schedules and tracking attendance.
  • Develop and maintain orientation and training programs for new hires and off-site registration personnel.
  • Work with system implementation teams to develop, test, and train end users on various applications.
  • Support Epic TogetherCare Super User and end user training.
  • Maintain current content for training materials and update workflows and policies as needed.
  • Conduct formal monthly training programs for revenue cycle and other departments performing Revenue Integrity functions.
  • Provide updates on regulatory, insurance, and billing information to revenue cycle colleagues.
  • Conduct mandatory remedial education for colleagues who create high-risk errors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Credentialed in Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Referral applications strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Revenue Cycle functional training for key Revenue Integrity functions.
  • Ability to convey complicated information in a user-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State government regulations and Compliance standards in healthcare.

Nice-to-haves

  • CHAA and CRCS-I certifications preferred.
  • Experience in developing training support tools.
  • Teaching skills that enhance user learning and involvement.
