About the position

The Software & Solutions Architect position at a high-growth SaaS company involves designing and implementing innovative solutions that cater to client needs. The role emphasizes technical leadership, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-performance applications. This position is fully remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable web, mobile application, and data solutions.
• Develop and scale API integrations using REST/SOAP.
• Drive end-to-end best practices such as microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance on machine learning integration within applications.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications, optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure best practices in coding and architecture are followed.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• At least 3 years of experience with web applications (heavy JavaScript frameworks), mobile applications, and Machine Learning programming.
• Experience with public cloud platforms.
• Experience working for SaaS startups.
• Familiarity with current stack: React, Next, Cockroach DB, AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Machine Learning, and visualization tools.
