About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Globys plays a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and screening potential customers for the company's products and services. This remote position requires a strong understanding of the sales process, particularly in account-based sales and marketing, and involves engaging with complex, multi-national organizations primarily outside of North America. The SDR is responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and setting up senior sales executives for success, ultimately contributing to top-line revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company's products and services using comprehensive knowledge and marketing assets to explain how solutions meet customer needs.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing cold and warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities within target accounts.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage senior sales executives in next steps.
  • Identify best practices for continually improving and refining the company's lead-generation playbook.
  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and various other channels to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives.
  • Report to sales/marketing manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in an ABS/ABM based sales environment, with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Ability to effectively interact with large, multi-national prospects across international markets.
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
