About the position

The Salesforce Administrator will manage and optimize the Salesforce instance for a high-tech SaaS company, ensuring effective use across the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business processes, provide training, and maintain data integrity. The position is remote, reports to the VP of Operations & Security, and requires quarterly travel for team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the Salesforce instance to ensure effective use across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes and provide training.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing Salesforce setup, including user accounts and data flow.
  • Establish a routine data management process, including regular data audits.
  • Enhance efficiency and improve data quality within Salesforce.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and profiles with an understanding of Salesforce security best practices.
  • Customize applications including objects, fields, and validation rules.
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and approval processes.
  • Leverage AI tools to optimize Salesforce workflows.
  • Conduct regular data audits and maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and manage reports and dashboards for various teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end user support and troubleshooting.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for Salesforce users.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements based on new features.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
  • Strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting issues with attention to detail.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with other software applications.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component development.
  • Ability to manage user accounts, roles, and profiles effectively.
  • Experience with data management tools like Data Loader.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot, and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Atlas).
  • Understanding of API integrations and their impact on Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
