About the position

System One is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a remote opportunity with a company based in Liberty, Missouri. This position is responsible for building and maintaining the Salesforce platform and empowering team members to gain efficiency and make data-driven decisions. The Salesforce Developer will play a crucial role in customizing and enhancing the Sales and Service Cloud platforms within the Lightning Experience UI, ensuring that the systems are tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization and its users. The Salesforce Developer will maintain and customize the Salesforce platform, focusing on the Sales and Service Cloud functionalities. This includes writing and deploying test code coverage, ensuring compliance with Salesforce Best Practices, and identifying bugs during the debugging process. The role also involves designing and implementing declarative automation using Approval Processes and Lightning Flow, which is a primary responsibility of the position. User support is another critical aspect, where the developer will assist with data loads, list view manipulation, report creation, and troubleshooting issues. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Salesforce Developer will manage all work through Atlassian Jira and Confluence, documenting newly implemented processes and customizations. The role requires taking ownership of project work and developing client relationships, demonstrating an active self-starter attitude. The developer will conduct ad hoc data and configuration analysis, providing insights and recommendations for innovative improvements, and periodically assess existing processes to find and implement new efficiencies. The position also involves coordinating change management processes to develop and implement new features and updates to existing functionality. The Salesforce Developer will provide third-tier support for the Salesforce user base, addressing questions and issues related to Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and associated vehicle hardware and software. Experience with the Copado deployment tool is considered a plus, enhancing the developer's ability to manage deployments effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and customizes Sales and Service Cloud platforms within the Lightning Experience UI.
  • Writes and deploys test code coverage, maintaining code coverage in compliance with the SFDC Best Practices.
  • Identifies bugs and aligns with requirements during debugging.
  • Designs and implements declarative automation using Approval Process and Lightning Flow.
  • Responsible for user support including tasks that include data loads, list view manipulation, report creation and break/fix.
  • Manages all work through Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Documents newly implemented processes and customization on Confluence.
  • Takes ownership of project work and develops client relationships.
  • Conducts ad hoc data and configuration analysis, providing insights and recommendations for innovative improvements.
  • Periodically assesses existing processes to find and implement new efficiencies.
  • Coordinates change management (release) process to develop and implement new features and updates to existing functionality.
  • Provides third tier support for new and existing Salesforce user base regarding questions and issues in Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and related vehicle hardware and software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience including configuration, customization, programming with Apex, triggers, and LWC frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with SOQL and SOSL.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with an issue tracking application and utilizing an agile project management methodology.
  • Project management and organization abilities, with an ability to initiate and execute complex, cross-functional projects with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Copado deployment tool is a plus.
