The Remote Salesforce Sr. Scrum Master position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group is designed for an experienced professional with a financial services background. The role focuses on facilitating Scrum processes, improving team efficiency, and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between agile principles and real-world practices, ensuring that teams are engaged and productive while managing product roadmaps and metrics effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provides consulting to the Product Owner in building and maintaining the product roadmap and release plan.
  • Facilitates Scrum master meetings for assigned product area, guiding teams towards improving their work processes.
  • Reaches out to the larger company network for impediment removal and drives cross-functional partnerships to achieve shared goals.
  • Facilitates sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
  • Coordinates effectively with other Scrum teams, product teams, and operational teams, consulting with the Product Owner to validate priorities.
  • Fosters self-organization and cross-team collaboration, enabling the team to make decisions and remove barriers.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and establishes effective processes by analyzing current and new product management processes.
  • Helps the team monitor progress daily and identifies opportunities for incremental improvement.
  • Maintains relevant metrics to show progress and communicates these metrics to the team.
  • Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with internal customers to understand their business needs.
  • Strengthens the presence of the team as an Agile center of excellence and contributes to the company's Agile and Product Community.
  • Inspires others to achieve challenging goals and high performance standards while committing to the organization's direction.
  • Models leadership competencies such as courage, collaboration, and commitment, demonstrating resiliency and accountability.
  • Supports a culture focused on continuous improvement, exceptional employee engagement, and commitment to clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial services.
  • Experience with Salesforce Scrum teams.
  • Experience working in a product model.
  • Experience on data projects related to financial planning data, ETL, and technologies like Snowflake.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving team efficiency and collaboration.
