About the position

The Remote Scheduling Coordinator at Neurocare Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and physician offices, facilitating the scheduling and completion of diagnostic sleep testing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage heavy phone work while ensuring patient needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and physician offices.
• Schedule a minimum of 20 patients per day, requiring heavy outbound phone work.
• Obtain patient history and appropriate clinical data prior to appointments.
• Educate patients about the type of sleep testing ordered and the registration process.
• Verify insurance online prior to scheduling to ensure compliant billing.
• Communicate with the clinical team to ensure staff availability meets patient needs.
• Interact with physicians and insurance providers to resolve issues and concerns.
• Report weekly and monthly information pertinent to assigned sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Experience in a medical setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills between task lists and inbound calls.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• High level of organization and accuracy.
• Exceptional telephone communication skills and professionalism.
