About the position

Come join our amazing team and work remote from home! The Senior Database and Application Support Concierge will be responsible for providing a single point of contact for all IT issues (i.e., SQL databases, data pipelines, ASP.NET web applications, etc.) for an assigned business unit within the enterprise. This role requires performing all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as all US state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the company's operations. The target pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00, plus an annual bonus. In this position, you will triage all IT-related requests from your assigned business unit and ensure a timely resolution. If you cannot resolve a request or issue in a timely manner, you will need to engage the required enterprise-wide IT resources to provide a viable solution. It is essential to ensure that realistic expectations are communicated to the requestor, along with continued status updates on all open projects or issues. Providing excellent customer service to your assigned business unit is a key aspect of this role. You will provide expert support for SQL databases, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems. Supporting and maintaining ASP.NET web applications, addressing technical issues, and optimizing performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with Senior Leadership is crucial, as you will provide technical insights, updates, and solutions to support business objectives. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS, will be necessary to ensure system reliability and efficiency. You will also develop and maintain VB/VBA code to support various business applications and processes, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization across Carrington's data repositories and data warehouses. Availability to provide support during standard business operating hours for your assigned business unit, specifically during normal East Coast time zone hours (8 AM - 5 PM EST), is required.

Responsibilities

  • Triage all IT related requests from your assigned business unit and ensure a timely resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service to your assigned business unit.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.
  • Support and maintain ASP.NET web applications, addressing technical issues and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, providing technical insights, updates, and solutions to support business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS, to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain VB/VBA code to support various business applications and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and performance optimization across Carrington data repositories and data warehouses.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise solutions using Microsoft SQL 2019, Microsoft Report Server (SSRS), Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS), Power BI, SharePoint.
  • Experience using enterprise ETL applications such as Microsoft SSIS or Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2019 including T-SQL programming and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft version control software (DevOps).
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
  • Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services.
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience in business intelligence, reports development, dashboard design, data integration or information management.
  • 5+ years' experience with SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, SSRS.
  • 5+ years' experience with VB, VB.NET, VBA.
  • 5+ years' experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage lending, and/or capital markets.
  • 5+ years' experience with ETL using Microsoft SSIS or Data Factory.
  • 3+ years' experience with enterprise data modeling.
