About the position

The Senior Database and Application Support Concierge is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues within a designated business unit. This role involves providing expert support for SQL databases, maintaining data pipelines, and ensuring the performance of ASP.NET web applications. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership to deliver technical insights and solutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Triage all IT related requests from the assigned business unit and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain realistic expectations for requestors.
  • Support SQL databases, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines for seamless data flow and integration.
  • Support and maintain ASP.NET web applications, addressing technical issues and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to provide technical insights and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Develop and maintain VB/VBA code to support various business applications and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and performance optimization across data repositories and warehouses.
  • Provide support during standard business operating hours (8AM - 5PM EST).

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise solutions using Microsoft SQL 2019, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, SharePoint.
  • Experience with enterprise ETL applications such as Microsoft SSIS or Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2019 including T-SQL programming and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft version control software (DevOps).
  • Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and explore alternative solutions.
  • Ability to make impactful decisions for the department's operations.
  • Ability to organize thoughts into understandable terminology.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage lending, and/or capital markets.
  • Experience with enterprise data modeling.
