About the position

The Senior Tax Manager position is a fully remote role focused on providing high-level tax expertise to clients across various industries. The role involves preparing complex client correspondence, delegating assignments, and demonstrating a strong understanding of recent tax developments. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting and possess an active CPA license, with experience in specialized industry areas such as non-profit, private equity, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, or construction/real estate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing complex client correspondence including recommendations, technical issues, proposals, etc.
• Delegating assignments to foster an environment of mentoring and teamwork.
• Demonstrating understanding of recent tax developments and their implications to a client's business.
• Providing high level of expertise in one or more specialized industry areas while performing effectively as a generalist.

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years as a manager in a Public Accounting Firm
• Active CPA
• Experience in Non-Profit, Private Equity, Healthcare, Energy, Manufacturing, and/or Construction/Real Estate (one or multiple preferred)

Benefits

• Competitive Base Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 (DOE)
• Nine (9) paid holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, two days for Thanksgiving, two days for Christmas, & one floating holiday.
